Replacing Hai "Hai" Lam in the mid lane for North American LCS squad Cloud 9 will be Nicolaj "Incarnation" Jensen.

After Hai's retirement as a competitive player and taking on a separate role within the team, Incarnati0n triumphed in acquiring the spot after trialing against others such as David 'Yusui' Bloomquist, who will still remain with the organization.

DailyDot initially reported that the Danish player was in line to replace Hai at the beginning of April, undergoing a lengthy trial to see if he meshed well with the rest of the team.  According to the team's coach Charlie, he didn't take long to impress. Here's a quote given during the latest publication:

“I think that out of the players that we tried out, Jensen had the most raw talent, and I can see him becoming the best mid laner in NA. One of the things I was impressed with was Jensen’s drive to do whatever the team needs to succeed.  He also seems to be fearless… He flew around the world to join us and has been willing to dive into anything we ask for.”

Incarnation was initially issued a ban indefinitely in January 2013, but has since been trying his hardest to still become a professional League of Legends player.  Serving as a temporary coach or SK Gaming, competitive bans didn't allow him to see the light of day for the team at Worlds.  Incarnation went on to say this to the DailyDot:

“Given my past mistakes, I'm looking to be a better teammate and to continue being confident in my own individual performance as well. I'm hoping to carry that confidence into the team without touching the infrastructure of how Cloud9 works.”

Incarnation elaborates that his playstyle and skillset varies greatly from Hai, who will now be playing a managing role within the team.  The summer split begins in less than a month, where Cloud 9 will enter an LCS split for the first time without all five of their original line-up.
