After the World Championship silver medalists StarHorn Royal Club were unable to maintain their LPL spot after the Spring Split, the organization has decided to acquire 2nd place LSPL team Vici Game Potential.
The LSPL squad has automatically qualified for the next LPL switch by virtue of their current LSPL standing. Due to the exclusive team ownership rules across all Riot endorsed leagues, Vici Gaming had to sell this roster to accomodate. The organization has stated that they will be rebranding to RNG, "Royal Never Give Up".
Vici explained that they regret the circumstances that led to StarHorn Royal Club's relegation from LPL, citing unfortunate events such as Namei's severely delayed inclusion into the team and inSec's leg injury. StarHorn Royal Club will still exist as it once was while it competes in the LSPL until further notice, as roster changes are expected but not released for either squad.
