Season 5 Worlds groups have been drawn

Rekindled rivalries, light groups, and an incredibly hard group for TSM form the four groups going into the World Championship.

Group A pits CLG and Koo Tigers against paiN Gaming and Yoe Flash Wolves.  While theres two obvious favorites here, theres definitely potential for psets.  Group A appears to be the "weakest" group on paper, giving CLG some breathing room with their jungler visa situation and Koo with their meta-reliance to advance.

Group B faces off old rivals Fnatic and Cloud 9 once again, although now Fnatic are stronger than ever and Cloud 9 are at their weakest point, barely making it to Worlds through a fantastic gauntlet run.  AHQ has always been a dark horse, improving their macro play and even taking an upset win off EDG at last Worlds, with Invictus Gaming becoming a powerhouse, albeit an inconsistent one.

Group C rematches MSI winners Edward Gaming back against SKT, providing more rival matchups with H2Ks Ryu getting another shot at Faker.  Bangkok Titans is the odd one out, having almost no chance to make playoffs against what most would consider the best Chinese and Korean team.

Group D features TSMs hardest groups since their participation in Worlds tournaments.  They must top LGD and KT Rolster in performance, while also besting Origen, a team that nearly took the set against a peak-performance Fnatic.

The group stage begins on October 1st, with the top two teams of every group advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2015 World Championship.
