Imp will not be attending NESO with LGD Gaming

Due to injuries, LGD will not be using their primary starting AD Carry in the upcoming National Electronic Sports Open.

Plagued by injuries, the reputable Chinese squad's star marksman Gu "Imp" Seungbin will not be able to play in NESO. It would appear that Imp's wrist pain from Worlds has only escalated, rendering him unable to play in this tournament.

The organization had this statement on Weibo:

"LGD AD Carry imp is unable to attend today's NESO games because of injuries, which we deeply regret. As a result of such misfortune, the LGD League team made ??an adjustment. Though the usual line-up will not play, we still hope you will support us."

While there has been no official confirmation on the part of the organization, LGD Gaming has looked to their very own mid laner Wei "GODV" Shen in the past to cover the AD Carry role while Imp was having visa issues, with substitute mid laner Chen "Yeluo" Libin taking his place.

Rumors suggest the possibility of Zhu "TBQ" Yong-Quan playing AD Carry, rendering Wei "xiaoxi" Li-Sheng, who some would argue is the superior jungler, taking TBQ's place in the jungle for the duration of the event.

Despite LGD's back-to-back finals appearance in the 2015 LPL Season, taking first place against Qiao Gu  in the Summer Playoffs, the team failed to perform to their standards, finishing 9-11th at the Season 5 World Championship, going 2-4 in their groups and only taking victories on the final day of their group stage upon subbing in Lee "Flame" Ho-jong in place of starting top laner Choi "Acorn" Cheon-ju.
