Hi Dreamer. Firstly, would you please introduce yourself for the Western fans that may not be familiar with you?
Hi everyone, I am from Taiwan's LMS Team Machi17. I am the support for the team.
You have been with Machi17 for a while now, sticking through all bad times. How would you describe your time on the team?
I have been with the team for a very long time and enjoy playing on it. I have been able to spend my time perfecting my skill.
Was losing in Spring qualifiers unexpected? What did you do during spring, as you awaited Summer promotions?
Going into the Spring Qualifier we were short a MID-JG and had very little time to find people to fill the slots. We looked very hard but had to use temporary players at the last second. In the meantime, Dee and I spent the time training at Machi.
Coming into Summer season, your team experimented with Korean imports. What was it like? What do you think of imports in the LMS? We saw them play and thought they were very good. Unfortunately, we had a problem with communicating and didn't do very well. If you can overcome the problems with communication I think a team with Koreans can become very strong. After moving to a full Taiwanese roster, it seemed that your team was improved. What did you think about your team’s performance toward the end of summer? Having a full Taiwanese team made it easier to go into detail when communicating, and made it easier to make team decisions. Having Koreans would have worked if the communication had progressed.
As a follow up, what did you think of your own performance as team captain? How would you rate yourself among other LMS supports this last split? As team captain the only thing that matters to me is winning my team the championship. It is a pity we didn’t break into the top 4 and we will work even harder for next season. I think I was very strong at tanks and teamfighting champions but not as strong at champions that protect the team. I have noticed this flaw and corrected it for the upcoming season. The LMS performed fairly well at Worlds this year. Why do you think that is? Taiwan’s competition started out small but has grown over the years. Despite our smaller population, LMS will continue to scale in size and we will grow stronger. What do you think of the changes this preseason? Are you looking forward to playing with them in S6? I think the changes are more fun than season 5 and suit our team. Our team is stable now and we are working hard to improve. I welcome any challenge from any team so that we can become the strongest team in the new season.
How strong do you think the LMS will be next season? How strong do you think your team will be? LMS are going to make top 8 at worlds this season. I believe our team will consistently be a top LMS team this season.
Any last words for your fans, your team, or the people the reading this interview? I hope Taiwanese fans continue to support M17 and Western fans look to the LMS to support us. We will continue to work hard until we can be the best!
