Bali Major Group Stage Day 3 is a continuation of the previous surprises! With two days left in this stage of the tournament, things will still change, but a few positions are mostly set.
Bali Major Day 3 Standings
Memorable games are something that the Bali Major has been excellent at giving us. Today it was Team Aster vs Beascoast, the first match of the day. The two Group A teams battled it out to the death in game 2, with a
whopping 92 kills in 42 mins.
Speaking of duels to the death, EG really are on their deathbed now with another 0-4 day. The roster who was the third to secure their TI qualification is having a nightmarish showing at the Bali Major with a 1-11 game record.
They're technically not eliminated yet, but they still have Gaimin Gladiators as an opponent in tomorrow's game, so hopes are really slim.

The Gladiators haven't exactly been having a stellar Bali Major run though. The roster who's been winning every Major of the year dropped another game today, this time at the hands of Azure Ray. They're still safely in top 3, but they're showing some weakness.
On the other hand, Quest Esports, the protagonists of this Bali Major journey have been showing nothing but surprising strength. The 22nd ranked team in the DPC rankings has only dropped a game during this entire stage and it was against GG, the favorites to win it all. Can they be stopped?
Group A's standings aren't as exciting, but Shopify Rebellion seem to be trying to follow EG's footsteps. The fourth team to qualify to TI12 had a 1-3 game against weaker opposition. They'll be fighting for their Bali Major lives tomorrow against Team Spirit and Invictus Gaming to see who makes it to top 6.
Eyes on TI
The Bali Major Group Stage Day 3 still hasn't decided anything. Despite that, we only have a day and a half left. Day 5 will be only comprised of 8 games, so tomorrow a lot of destinies will be written in stone.
Teams will be fighting for their tournament lives and for the chance to still ensure TI qualification. Who'll be able to make it to the biggest tournament of the Dota 2 year, and who'll be left behind?
