Leffen takes his first USA national tournament, winning CEO 2015

After going undefeated in his first set and taking grand finals in four games, one Swede reigns over another and TSM Leffen takes CEO 2015, becoming the second Melee player from outside of the USA to win a US national.

After Alliance star Armada knocked out Mang0 with his combination of Fox and Peach versus Mang0's Fox and Falco, the two players from Sweden met in the grand finals at CEO 2015.  Winners finals had seen Leffen 3-0 Armada in Fox dittos where few had expected him to dominate, putting the momentum firmly in in his favour coming into this set.

While Armada took game two from Leffen, he could not turn the tide, and Leffen's practice and determination to finally win an major event paid off. His accumulated patience, experience and dexterity through tech skill allowed him to to eliminate Armada from the tournament and win his first major, with the rest of top 4 of the tournament as follows:

1st.   Leffen 2nd.   Armada 3rd.   Mango 4th.   Westballz It remains to be seen how much we can read into these results with Evo 2015 in mind, but Leffen has added his name to the list of potential winners and banished some demons in the process. Having recently stated how unhappy he was with the way he was playing, TSM's main man looks to have re-found his groove, and will be a serious threat when the Smash world rocks up in Vegas.
