Fnatic has reached out to Nuengnara "
23savage" Teeramahanon to join their ranks, as per sources close to the player. It is learnt that Fnatic made the offer to the young player shortly after T1 announced their foray in Dota. The suave carry player hailing from Thailand first came to the limelight when Lee "
Forev" Sang-don recruited him to Jinesbrus. The SEA stack almost made it to TI9 via SEA qualifiers falling short only to Mineski in the grand finals.
When T1 (SKT) announced their foray in Dota 2, 23savage was initially expected to follow Forev to the team. However, as luck would have it, Fnatic made an offer shortly after T1 made the announcement. Sources close to 23savage have also informed us that the player is indeed leaning towards joining the boys in Orange and Black colours.
If 23savage is to join Fnatic, then he'll be assuming the position 1 role while his fellow countryman Anucha "
Jabz" Jirawong will move back to the support role. In the meantime, Kim "
DuBu" Doo-young is said to no longer be a part of Fnatic as Park "
March" Tae-won is most likely to continue as a coach.
That being said, T1 were initially supposed to build a roster around Forev and 23savage. With the latter unlikely to stick around, it'll be interesting to see the roster that T1 builds. This also means that Febby and Gunnar will most likely not be considered in the roster.
The conclusion of The International brings forth a lot of roster changes in teams with the intention of lifting the Aegis of the Immortal. Stay updated for latest updates regarding the roster shuffle.
