T1 to trial an all-Korean roster in upcoming Dota 2 events

T1, formerly SKT, have made their legendary marks in titles such as StarCraft: Brood War and League of Legends. The org has fielded some of the best teams and talents of all time, such as Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok and Lim "SlayerS_`BoxeR`" Yo Hwan. Now, the organization is looking to expand to Dota, a game not ordinarily saturated with a Korean userbase - and they're going to do it with a majority Korean roster. For the first major qualifiers, the squad tried out Milan, chu, benrur and xemistry under Team Jinesbrus, but to no avail. This second attempt to enter the scene will field Grace, snow and Xemistry, alongside Forev, their first official recruit whom the team is built around. The team may also field Mental Proctor (MP) as a stand-in who previously played for FNATIC. The fifth player is being trialed and may be from another MOBA title, such as League of Legends or Heroes of the Storm, having reached Challenger and Grandmaster level in their respective games. The try-out period is looking to be around 2 months, and the line-up will play in the online QI League and the Hainan - a LAN tournament, having received a direct invitation to the main event.
