This has been a benchmark year for Jessica ‘ZombieGrub’ Chernega. The SC2 caster recently wrapped up work on her first ever WCS event at WCS Montreal. For any SC2 caster, the dream goal has to be casting a premier event alongside people like ToD, Rotterdam, iNcontroL, and the other top names in the scene. It's something that people work towards for their whole careers, with a select few actually reaching those lofty heights. After starting her year with a spot on the caster desk for Ogaming’s Nationwars, it seemed inevitable that ZombeGrub would hit those heights. Well liked by the community, and ever present through her work with BasetradeTV and other online projects, ZombieGrub’s WCS casting time has been received favourably by the fans and viewers, leaving everyone wondering what might come next for the American caster.
I had the chance to chat with ZombieGrub just after the WCS Montreal finale about what brought her to this point, and what may come next for her.
