Over the past few weeks, the League of Legends community has been raving about former Gambit & Ninja in Pyjamas superstar, Alexey "Alex Ich" Ichetovkin supposedly moving to North America to compete in the North American Challenger Series. NALCS team, Team 8, recently announced that they'd be moving Ich to North America, with his role being a substitute top laner for the team.
Shortly after this announcement, an organization known as BrawL, which is an e-sports company based out of Mexico, announced they'd be acquiring Challenger ladder team "We Love Shakira" for the upcoming North American Challenger Series Qualifiers, a roster with some familiar names, the likes of Ryan "ShorterACE" Nget, James "LattmaN" Lattman, & Derek "Lohpally" Abrams. Nget is best known for his time with Final Five in the NA Expansion Tournament, with an impressive performance versus Complexity.Black specifically. Lattman is best known for his time at Frank Fang Gaming & XDG Gaming, as well as being an official AD Carry sub for LCS team, Team Dignitas. Abrams is also well known amongst the Challenger scene, primarily for his time with Complexity.White during the Expansion Tournament. BrawL would soon announce that their mid laner would be none other than Alex Ich. Unfortunately, however, Ich would not be able to arrive in North America until after the first round of competition.

Said qualifiers took place yesterday and unfortunately, BrawL (without Ich being present, using sub Altrum) lost in a 1-2 defeat to other North American Challenger ladder team, Darkness. The players on the team took to Twitter, shocked at the results of the match. At the moment, it is uncertain as to what the organization, the players, and Alex will be doing at this time.
GGs to Darkness~ what to do now huh x(
