Yesterday, Counter Logic Gaming announced that Jae-hyun 'HuHi' Choi will become the new starting mid laner for the League of Legends team, replacing young talent Eugene 'Pobelter' Park. When Pobelter came into the starting line-up for CLG replacing Austin 'Link' Shin, the team saw a consistent improvement in both regular play and the ability to play under pressure in important matches. However, this was largely a teamwide benefit after the inclusion of current Head Coach Chris 'Blurred Limes' Ehrenreich.
HuHi was previously thought to be the starting jungler (in the often joked about off-role standards that CLG questioningly apply) for Worlds had Jake 'Xmithie' Puchero's visa issues continued to persist. With CLG's run at Worlds over, Xmithie will be keeping his jungle spot while Pobelter is moved to the bench, cited as being actively looked after by the organization to provide him with the "best possible opportunities moving into the next LCS season."
With CLG's 2015 iteration of their line-up, they were able to accomplish 1st place in the North American 2015 Summer Split LCS Playoffs.
