Ever wins IEM Cologne 2015

Team Ever, an "underdog" Korean team, has taken the final gold medal for Intel Extreme Masters of the year, defeating Qiao Gu Reapers in the grand finals.

After several months of chaos, order is restored in the world of League of Legends esports -- North America exits the tournament first, Europe makes the semi-finals, Korea and China make it to the grand finals, and Korea takes the cup.  However, this was no washout from Korea's representative.

Ever was seeded directly into the semi-finals, where they faced one loss to H2k but won the series 2-1 to proceed to the grand finals.  Qiao Gu, however, worked their way up from the quarterfinals, showing a disappointing first game performance against the feeble Team Dignitas line-up.  However, they showed up in the second day after knocking the newly formulated Team Fnatic line-up out of the semi-finals.

Ever has shown up out of nowhere, and was heavily regarded as a "net cafe" team due to only recently undergoing infrastructural implementation that other famous teams in Korea enjoy, such as a gaming house.  They made their mark in the 2015 KeSPA cup, where they defeated veteran team CJ Entus in the grand finals after defeating World Champions SK Telecom T1 in the semi-finals 2-0, albeit admitedly a weakened roster with SKT using their tertiary mid-lane substitute player Lee "Scout" Ye-chan.

Ever has proven this to not simply be a one-off performance by winning IEM Cologne 2015.  Oddly enough, they will not be participating in the 2015 LCK Spring Season, failing to qualify through the 2016 LCK Spring Promotion tournament against SBENU Sonicboom.
