Perhaps the largest change for the team comes from the jungle position, where Lee "Spirit" Dayun will be taking over for Reignover. Spirit was the former jungler for 2014's Samsung Galaxy Blue line-up, continuing his career in China under World Elite's banner where many argued he surpassed his former skill level.
The other two new players introduced are Jun "Gamsu" Noh and Lewis "NoXiak" Felix, the former of which had played on last year's North American Team Dignitas squad. The remaining veterans of Fnatic are Martin "Rekkles' Larsson and Fabian "Febiven" Diepstraten.
Rekkles has a proven track record of being a consistent carry. Scouted out as a talented player in the earlier days of Fnatic, the organization was unable to use him in the LCS initially due to age restrictions. Now, Rekkles is comfortably seated as a supportive style AD Carry with the capacity of carrying given the correct context.
Febiven has risen from a rookie challenger level player to an elite world-class mid laner capable of going toe to toe with the best Koreans in lane while maintaining phenomenal teamplay.
Team Fnatic's Head Coach Luis "Delior" Sevilla had this statement to say in their public release of the news:
I'm sure that we will have a tough start as we build communication and synergy, but we have the talent to be at least as good as Fnatic has always been, if not even better with time. With all the lessons learnt from S5, I'm extremely excited to start working with the new roster and bring joys to our fans again
