In less than three hours, H2k kills the dreams of Unicorns of Love at Worlds. In Game 1, H2k showed their superior intelligence through drafts while Unicorns showed rather confusing picks in their trademarked fashion. H2k excelled in macro play as wel, establishing early vision and dominating off of that.
The gold totals were close, but unfortunately Vardags was incredibly far behind and incapable of matching the damage of Hjarnans scaling Tristana. Unicorns of Love almost grasped game 1 with the stealing of a baron, but H2k still won through superior play and a better scaling composition.
Despite Vizis lead, H2k were significantly ahead of UoL overall in gold.
The series continued with Unicorns of Love pulling out the first Gangplank in the playoffs, running top lane critplank. Vizi put in work, going 7-0 before being taken down, but was unfortunately the only threatening target on the team. The game appeared to be close yet again, but with a solid pick from H2k, the game to an abrupt ending, putting H2k ahead 2-0.
Game 3 was full tilt mode for Unicorns of Love. H2k established a huge early snowball with Ryu grabbing his stastically godlike Fizz. Loulex camped his lane early to get him ahead and start the snowball. However, he certainly wasnt the only issue on the team. Some ganks bottom and flashy mechanics by Hjarnan allowed his Sivir to climb massively ahead. H2k starting the game 8-0 basically sealed the deal and locked in 3rd place for H2k.
