ESL has launched their new website for their signature Intel Extreme Masters tournament series. Along with a redesigned website ESL has also announced plans for the next Intel Extreme Masters stop at Gamescom. The second IEM stop this season will take place August 5^th to August 8^th and will feature StarCraft II as well as at least one other yet to be announced game.

IEM is ESL's Premier Tournament Circuit for StarCraft II as well as League of Legends

IEM Gamescom will be the second stop this year after IEM Shenzhen, which is set to be the first IEM event to feature Heroes of the Storm. A MOBA featuring characters from Blizzard's various intellectual properties. The ESL website currently lists other games as "To be announced" so it is possible that we will see Heroes alongside StarCraft at Gamescom.

This will be the fifth time that IEM will be featured at Gamescom which takes place in Cologne, Germany at the Koelnmesse exhibition center. Gamescom is the largest games fair in Europe, and ESL’s eSports productions have become an increasingly large attraction at the event.
