eSports Heaven has learned that Invictus Gaming has partnered with Prime, with the teams planning a joint roster to compete in round three of this year’s Pro-league. Already boastsing one of the strongest line-ups in Chinese Starcraft, iG will be contributing several notable players to the squad including Cao “Jim” Jinhui, Hu “MacSed” Xiang, Xiang “XY” Yao. Invictus players have a history of competing in events organized by SpoTV, with both Jim and MacSed famously both receiving global seeds in the SpoTV StarLeague, at which Jim was able to take a map off the Jin Air Greenwings Terran Maru.
The combined roster will consist of:
BBongBBong
ByuN
Creator
KeeN
TANGTANG
YoDa
Zoun
Jim
MacSed
XY
This partnership provides Prime with two unorthodox Protoss players that could serve as powerful replacements for MyuNgSiK. The Chinese players will also move to South Korea and reside in the Prime house to further their development as players and facilitate simpler travel to and from the Proleague studio. iAsonu, notable for winning the most recent Golden Professional League and being one of China's top Zerg players, will not be part of the joint roster for round three as the game takes a back seat to his education for now, but will join the roster if the partnership continues into round 4.
