Krepo joining Elements?

Howspiffing 2015-02-23 12:11:52

The roster change fans have been begging for looks like it might finally be about to happen, as sources close to the team tell EsportsHeaven that Mitch 'Krepo' Voorspoels is set to join up with Elements to replace the under-performing Patrick 'Nyph' Funke.

Krepo was reportedly a candidate for the coaching position at the start of the split, but turned it down as he thought he could perform better than starting support player Nyph. It looks likely that Krepo will get his chance to prove himself as sources tell us the deal is "100% complete" with Krepo likely to start in the week 6 EU LCS matches.

Sorry for lack of stream guys. Something came up. enjoy NA LCS tonight!

Elements slumped to a 0-2 week after replacing long standing top laner Mike 'Wickd' Peterson for fellow veteran Kevin 'Kev1n' Rubiszewski, with many fans calling out Nyph as one of the main underperformers. Those same fans have been crying out for Krepo, and week by week those cries have only gained volume.

Krepo hasn't streamed since the 19th due to illness, and again apologized earlier today for the lack of stream claiming 'something has come up'. While none of the sources confirmed, all of them stated it was likely that Krepo was scrimming with the Elements lineup. Krepo has also been duo queuing with Elements AD Carry Martin 'Rekkles' Larsson recently.
