Unicorns of Love move onto the semi-finals after defeating ROCCAT

Unlike the anticlimatic conclusions to yesterday's games, ROCCAT vs. Unicorns of Love came down to an exhausting but exhilarating 5-game series, where the heavily favored Unicorns of Love found a realistic chance of failure against the underdogs of the series, ROCCAT.  Unicorns of Love played their typical style -- a bit of unique flavor into a late-game scaling team.  However, the recipe for success now involves H0R0's aggressive jungling which significantly increases pressure in UoL's early game.

In the final game to decide the series, both teams chose scaling compositions with back and forth ganks thundering on opposing sides of the map.  ROCCAT were able to establish giant midgame powerspikes with their Trinity Force champions in Kog'Maw and Corki.  Despite the heavy disadvantage in UoL's composition in this set, they managed to secure objectives and stay strong during the weak period of the game for them.  H0R0 realized he would be a heavy deciding factor for this game and decided to be selfish with blue buffs, with PowerofEvil relying on a self sufficient Athene's into Archangel's build.

ROCCAT were able to teamfight well but UoL were having none of it.  Instead, Unicorns opted to split push with a heavy DPS-build Gnar, while also being ballsy enough to sneak an early Baron which would contribute towards future objectives. ROCCAT did their best to formulate a defensive line in preparation for their Battle of Helm's Deep, but they couldn't fend off the hordes of minions and splitput pressure being output by Unicorns.  UoL put an end to the series with some excellent Mega-gnar & Shockwave combos and advance to a familiar semi-finals against Fnatic.
